Building inclusive networks for empowerment

We are closely working together with hands-on experts, organizations and institutions in the regions where gender inequality is most prevalent: the Middle East, South Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Together we strive for equal rights and opportunities for women and girls to bring about and accelerate positive change.

Get involved!

For Menstrual Hygiene Day (May 28), our Local Hero in Kibera, AWOCHE Foundation, is planning all kinds of activities to create awareness among young girls and their surroundings about periods and how to deal with them. They are organizing a radio show in which they discuss various issues and solutions regarding sanitary pads and the taboo on menstrual health.
